I started using One Wellness the first week of Sept 2023 and have felt a positive change in my brain fog, depression, fatigue and lack of overall feeling of wellness. The treatment has helped me feel better. Dr Rodgers and his team are very nice to work with and make it an low stress environment to receive treatment.

I've been doing HRT for 15 years, and I've been to my fair share of clinics. But none of them compare to Dr. Rodgers' office. He and his staff are truly exceptional. From the moment you walk in the door, you're greeted with a warm welcome and a smile. The office is clean, comfortable, and inviting. And the staff is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Dr. Rodgers himself is amazing. He is passionate about helping his patients. He takes the time to listen to my concerns and answer all of my questions. He also makes sure to explain everything to me in a way that I can understand. Dr. Rodgers is also very respectful of my choices. He doesn't pressure me into anything, and he always works with me to create a treatment plan that's right for me. I feel like he truly cares about my well-being, and I trust him completely. I'm so grateful that I found Dr. Rodgers. He's changed my life for the better. If you're looking for a functional health office that provides the best possible care, look no further. Dr. Rodgers is the one for you!

Today I had a wonderful first-time experience at One Wellness! Brianne was very good at listening and understanding my situation. Her actions were very well explained and at the end of my first session my back pain, that had engulfed me for over two weeks was vanquished! My previous visits to the doctor and the physical therapy he recommended hadn’t helped. I was so grateful to be relieved of the pain! This first session could not have gone better, in my opinion! Thanks One Wellness !

I have had 2 back surgeries and have been in pain for years. Went to Breanna and Glade and today is the best my back has felt in almost 7 years. Breanna was awesome today and I feel that I may have permanent pain relief soon 10 stars if it would allow me to do so

If not for One Wellness, I would have had major surgery on my knees! Try Acousana and see that your body can heal itself. It’s a game changer

I am a very sports-minded, active, kind of guy. I love to train and do multiple sports. I've tried many different methods to alleviate my knee arthritis which limited me to about 60 to 70% of activity. 6 weeks after my multiple treatments, that improves my activity level to about 90 to 95%. And still improving. I'm looking forward to 100%. I would highly recommend treatments with One Wellness

What is your office’s policy regarding disability letters and forms?2023-10-30T16:49:00-06:00

In alignment with our office policy, we will not issue or complete disability letters, FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act) certifications, worker’s compensation forms, or any other similar documentation until we have established a consistent care relationship, which typically spans a period of 3 to 6 months. This duration is essential to ensure we comprehensively evaluate the patient’s medical condition, understand the extent to which it affects their daily functionality, and consider any potential treatments or interventions.

What is the treatment approach for CIRS?2023-07-05T11:48:00-06:00

We follow the 12 step Shoemaker protocol as it is the only treatment that has been proven to reach a cure. We individualize the treatment by identifying and addressing the specific triggers, home remediation, detoxification, restoration of the gut, balancing hormones, and restoration of essential biomarkers.

What causes Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome (CIRS)?2023-07-05T11:45:22-06:00

As a result of a defect in the immune system, CIRS can be triggered by exposure to biotoxins from sources like mold, Lyme disease, or other environmental factors.

How is CIRS diagnosed?2023-07-05T11:46:19-06:00

Diagnosing CIRS can be complex. It often involves a combination of a detailed medical history, symptom evaluation, visual contrast sensitivity (VCS) testing, laboratory testing (such as biomarker analysis), and potentially other specialized assessments like genetic testing or imaging studies. Working with a healthcare professional experienced in CIRS diagnosis is crucial. Here is a brief explanation of some of the diagnostic tests that may be used:

VCS Screening:
VCS tests the contrast function of vision, or the ability to see an edge. This test looks at the graded change of contrast at different light frequency used to make a grid of five separate frequencies. The test can be used to determine a biotoxin illness such as CIRS.

NeuroQuant:
NeuroQuant is a volume measurement on 11 paired brain structures based on one sagittal view MRI without contrast. Using tables based on thousands of patient studies it can differentiate type of exposure based on brain injury pattern. NeuroQuant testing often can detect the exposure that cased the patient’s CIRS. This test can be used for both diagnosing CIRS and evaluation of the effectiveness of treatment.

GENIE:
Genie is a gene expression test preformed on a single blood specimen. This test examines the activity of 188+ genes. It examines the activity of these genes that have the most important impact on the diagnosis and treatment of CIRS patients.

Do you accept insurance?2023-11-08T15:41:20-07:00

We do not currently accept insurance. We made this decision to streamline our processes and offer more affordable, transparent pricing to our patients.

However, we understand that insurance coverage can be an important factor in your healthcare decisions. We can provide you with a receipt that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement if your plan allows for out-of-network providers. Please keep in mind that coverage and reimbursement rates can vary widely depending on your insurance plan.

Why don’t you accept insurance at your clinic?

We believe insurance plays a critical role in emergency care, which is essential for immediate health crises. However, our clinic’s mission is to optimize overall health through comprehensive services that go beyond the scope of what insurance covers.

Insurance often leads to healthcare rationing and allows corporations rather than medical professionals to determine patient needs. This can limit the treatments doctors offer and encourage shorter patient interactions, which doesn’t align with our goal of providing in-depth, personalized care. Moreover, insurance can lead to unexpected costs for patients, much like surprise bills in other sectors.

By not accepting insurance, we avoid the constraints it imposes on the depth and quality of care. We’re free to provide tailored, comprehensive services without the limitations set by insurance companies. This approach ensures our patients receive the attention and care that truly benefits their long-term health without the risk of surprise billing.

While traditional insurance is not accepted, we welcome you to use your Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) cards to pay for our services. This allows you to benefit from tax-advantaged accounts while investing in your health optimization.

Can I continue living in a moldy environment if I have CIRS?2023-07-01T15:35:29-06:00

Step one of the CIRS treatment protocol is to get out of or clean up the moldy environment. Living in a moldy environment can exacerbate symptoms and hinder recovery for individuals with CIRS. It’s important to take steps to remediate the mold and create a clean and healthy living environment. This is a critical step in order to achieve complete recovery from CIRS and typically involves working with professionals experienced in mold remediation.

Can diet play a role in managing CIRS?2023-06-02T18:44:59-06:00

Yes, diet can play a significant role in managing CIRS. A nutrient-dense, anti-inflammatory diet that focuses on whole foods, emphasizes gut health, and minimizes potential triggers can help support the body’s healing process. Working with a qualified healthcare professional or a registered dietitian who is knowledgeable about CIRS can provide guidance on an appropriate diet plan.

Can CIRS be cured?2023-07-05T11:47:24-06:00

Yes, with proper treatment and adherence, a cure for CIRS is possible in most patients. While each patient is unique, the 12 step Shoemaker protocol can take between 12-18 months to complete. The goal of treatment is to address underlying triggers, support detoxification pathways, reduce inflammation, normalize biomarkers and optimize overall health.

Can CIRS affect mental health?2023-06-02T18:45:32-06:00

Yes, CIRS can have a significant impact on mental health. The chronic inflammation and neurotoxic effects associated with CIRS can contribute to symptoms like brain fog, memory problems, mood disturbances, anxiety, and depression. Treating the underlying inflammation and addressing the biotoxin exposure can help alleviate these mental health symptoms.

Are there specific lab tests for CIRS?2023-07-05T11:46:52-06:00

Yes. We can do genetic testing, check inflammatory biomarkers such as C4a, TGF-beta 1, MMP-9 and MSH. We can also perform an MRI scan for brain volume and a gene function test.
