In alignment with our office policy, we will not issue or complete disability letters, FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act) certifications, worker’s compensation forms, or any other similar documentation until we have established a consistent care relationship, which typically spans a period of 3 to 6 months. This duration is essential to ensure we comprehensively evaluate the patient’s medical condition, understand the extent to which it affects their daily functionality, and consider any potential treatments or interventions.
