I started using One Wellness the first week of Sept 2023 and have felt a positive change in my brain fog, depression, fatigue and lack of overall feeling of wellness. The treatment has helped me feel better. Dr Rodgers and his team are very nice to work with and make it an low stress environment to receive treatment.

I've been doing HRT for 15 years, and I've been to my fair share of clinics. But none of them compare to Dr. Rodgers' office. He and his staff are truly exceptional. From the moment you walk in the door, you're greeted with a warm welcome and a smile. The office is clean, comfortable, and inviting. And the staff is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Dr. Rodgers himself is amazing. He is passionate about helping his patients. He takes the time to listen to my concerns and answer all of my questions. He also makes sure to explain everything to me in a way that I can understand. Dr. Rodgers is also very respectful of my choices. He doesn't pressure me into anything, and he always works with me to create a treatment plan that's right for me. I feel like he truly cares about my well-being, and I trust him completely. I'm so grateful that I found Dr. Rodgers. He's changed my life for the better. If you're looking for a functional health office that provides the best possible care, look no further. Dr. Rodgers is the one for you!

Today I had a wonderful first-time experience at One Wellness! Brianne was very good at listening and understanding my situation. Her actions were very well explained and at the end of my first session my back pain, that had engulfed me for over two weeks was vanquished! My previous visits to the doctor and the physical therapy he recommended hadn’t helped. I was so grateful to be relieved of the pain! This first session could not have gone better, in my opinion! Thanks One Wellness !

I have had 2 back surgeries and have been in pain for years. Went to Breanna and Glade and today is the best my back has felt in almost 7 years. Breanna was awesome today and I feel that I may have permanent pain relief soon 10 stars if it would allow me to do so

If not for One Wellness, I would have had major surgery on my knees! Try Acousana and see that your body can heal itself. It’s a game changer

I am a very sports-minded, active, kind of guy. I love to train and do multiple sports. I've tried many different methods to alleviate my knee arthritis which limited me to about 60 to 70% of activity. 6 weeks after my multiple treatments, that improves my activity level to about 90 to 95%. And still improving. I'm looking forward to 100%. I would highly recommend treatments with One Wellness

What kind of testing does functional medicine involve?2023-03-09T19:27:22-07:00

We take a comprehensive approach to evaluating your health by conducting an in-depth health history, performing a range of laboratory tests including samples of saliva, blood, urine, hair, skin, stool, and more, and conducting a thorough physical examination. Our advanced testing methods also allow us to assess your autonomic nervous system, cardiovascular health, physical function, brain function, body composition, and more.

What is your office’s policy regarding disability letters and forms?2023-10-30T16:49:00-06:00

In alignment with our office policy, we will not issue or complete disability letters, FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act) certifications, worker’s compensation forms, or any other similar documentation until we have established a consistent care relationship, which typically spans a period of 3 to 6 months. This duration is essential to ensure we comprehensively evaluate the patient’s medical condition, understand the extent to which it affects their daily functionality, and consider any potential treatments or interventions.

What is functional medicine and how is it different from conventional medicine?2023-03-09T19:22:28-07:00

Functional Medicine prioritizes treating the individual as a whole, not just the disease. This approach involves a comprehensive evaluation of your health history, lab results, and physical examination to identify the underlying causes of health problems. A personalized treatment plan is created and continuously adjusted to guide you towards optimum wellness. Our approach encompasses dietary modifications, physical activity, lifestyle changes, hormone therapy, supplementation, and medication as needed.

How does functional medicine support the body’s natural healing processes?2023-03-09T19:28:18-07:00

Functional medicine supports the body’s natural healing processes by identifying and addressing the underlying causes of disease, rather than just treating symptoms.

At One Wellness, we take into account the complexity of the human body and recognize that health is not simply the absence of disease, but rather a state of optimal function and well-being. To achieve this state, we focus on identifying and addressing the root causes of disease and restoring the body’s natural balance.

The following are some of the ways that functional medicine supports the body’s natural healing processes:

  1. Identifying and addressing nutrient deficiencies: A functional medicine approach considers the role of essential vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients in maintaining health and supports the body’s natural healing processes by replenishing these vital nutrients through diet and supplementation.
  2. Reducing inflammation: Inflammation is a natural response to injury or infection, but chronic inflammation can lead to a host of health problems. We use a variety of techniques, such as dietary changes, supplementation, and lifestyle modifications, to reduce inflammation and support the body’s natural healing processes.
  3. Balancing hormones: Hormonal imbalances can lead to a range of health problems, including fatigue, mood changes, and weight gain. We evaluate and address imbalances in hormones, such as cortisol, estrogen, and testosterone, to support the body’s natural healing processes.
  4. Improving gut health: A healthy gut microbiome is critical for overall health and well-being. We address imbalances in gut bacteria and support the body’s natural healing processes by using dietary changes, probiotics, and other treatments to improve gut health.
  5. Reducing stress: Chronic stress can weaken the immune system and lead to a range of health problems. We use stress-management techniques, such as mindfulness, meditation, and exercise, to support the body’s natural healing processes.
How does functional medicine integrate conventional and complementary medicine?2023-03-09T19:24:11-07:00

Functional Medicine integrates conventional and complementary medicine by combining the best of both approaches to address the underlying causes of disease and chronic illness and promote optimal health. It recognizes the importance of conventional medical practices, such as diagnosing and treating acute illnesses, and incorporates evidence-based complementary therapies, such as nutrition, lifestyle modification, and stress management. This approach takes into account your unique circumstances, including genetic, environmental, and lifestyle factors, to create a personalized treatment plan that addresses the root cause of the condition and promotes overall health and well-being. The aim of functional medicine is to address the complex interplay of factors that contribute to chronic illness and to empower you to take an active role in your own health and healing.

How does functional medicine evaluate and treat the root cause of a health issue?2023-03-09T19:23:26-07:00

We take a thorough approach to evaluating your health through a comprehensive health history, extensive lab tests, and physical examination. Our goal is to uncover the underlying causes of dysfunction in the body and determine the root cause of your condition.

How does functional medicine evaluate and address imbalances in gut health?2023-03-09T19:25:22-07:00

At One Wellness, we take a comprehensive approach to evaluating and addressing imbalances in the gut. The gut is recognized as an integral part of overall health and wellness, and imbalances in the gut microbiome can contribute to a wide range of health issues, including digestive problems, autoimmune diseases, mood disorders, and more.

In order to evaluate imbalances in the gut, we use a combination of techniques, including:

  1. Comprehensive health history: A thorough evaluation of the your symptoms, dietary habits, and lifestyle to determine any factors that may be contributing to gut imbalances.
  2. Lab tests: Blood tests, stool tests, and other lab assessments to evaluate the health of the gut microbiome and identify any deficiencies or imbalances.
  3. Physical examination: An assessment of the abdomen and digestive system to identify any physical signs of gut imbalances, such as bloating, abdominal pain, or discomfort.

Based on this evaluation, we will create a personalized treatment plan with you that addresses your unique needs and supports the body’s natural healing processes.

How does functional medicine consider a patient’s lifestyle and environmental factors in their treatment plan?2023-03-09T19:23:47-07:00

The various aspects of our daily life, including lifestyle, environment, stress levels, exposure to toxins, diet, physical activity, and emotions, can significantly impact our physical health. When determining the root cause of a disease, we examine these factors to understand their effect on your health. Based on this evaluation, we may suggest appropriate modifications to improve overall wellness.

How does functional medicine approach nutrition and dietary changes?2023-03-09T19:24:33-07:00

Functional Medicine takes a holistic approach to nutrition and dietary changes. Instead of simply focusing on reducing caloric intake or avoiding certain foods, the goal is to understand your individual nutritional needs and address any imbalances or deficiencies. This approach considers your age, health status, lifestyle, cultural background, and personal preferences to determine the most appropriate dietary modifications. We recognize the importance of nutrient-dense, whole foods and may suggest dietary changes, such as increasing the consumption of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and healthy fats, to improve overall health and support the body’s natural healing processes. We will also consider the role of food sensitivities and allergies in contributing to chronic illness and may recommend elimination diets or other interventions to identify and address these issues. In addition to making dietary changes, we  may also recommend specific nutrient supplementation based on your unique needs and health status. The goal is to support the body’s natural healing processes, reduce inflammation, and promote optimal health and wellness.

How does functional medicine approach chronic diseases and conditions?2023-03-09T19:23:00-07:00

Chronic diseases and conditions result from disruptions in various bodily processes such as neural, hormonal, physical, and emotional. To determine the root cause, we conduct a thorough evaluation of your health history, lab results, and physical condition. Our aim is to reverse the chronic disease or conditions using a multi-faceted approach that incorporates diet, exercise, lifestyle modifications, supplementation, hormone therapy, and medication as needed. In cases where complete reversal may not be possible, we strive to improve your health and well-being to the greatest extent possible.

Do you accept insurance?2023-11-08T15:41:20-07:00

We do not currently accept insurance. We made this decision to streamline our processes and offer more affordable, transparent pricing to our patients.

However, we understand that insurance coverage can be an important factor in your healthcare decisions. We can provide you with a receipt that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement if your plan allows for out-of-network providers. Please keep in mind that coverage and reimbursement rates can vary widely depending on your insurance plan.

Why don’t you accept insurance at your clinic?

We believe insurance plays a critical role in emergency care, which is essential for immediate health crises. However, our clinic’s mission is to optimize overall health through comprehensive services that go beyond the scope of what insurance covers.

Insurance often leads to healthcare rationing and allows corporations rather than medical professionals to determine patient needs. This can limit the treatments doctors offer and encourage shorter patient interactions, which doesn’t align with our goal of providing in-depth, personalized care. Moreover, insurance can lead to unexpected costs for patients, much like surprise bills in other sectors.

By not accepting insurance, we avoid the constraints it imposes on the depth and quality of care. We’re free to provide tailored, comprehensive services without the limitations set by insurance companies. This approach ensures our patients receive the attention and care that truly benefits their long-term health without the risk of surprise billing.

While traditional insurance is not accepted, we welcome you to use your Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) cards to pay for our services. This allows you to benefit from tax-advantaged accounts while investing in your health optimization.

Can functional medicine help with mental and emotional health concerns?2023-09-26T17:52:17-06:00

Yes, functional medicine can help with mental and emotional health concerns. The functional medicine approach recognizes that mental and emotional health are interconnected with physical health and considers the impact of psychological and social factors on overall health and wellness.

The gut is known as the second brain, and can influence our moods and emotions.  Toxins can disturb our neurotransmitters.  In functional medicine we can look at your neurotransmitters and other biochemistry to see how it is affecting your mood.  We can then set up a treatment plan to improve your emotional health.

At One Wellness, we use a holistic approach to evaluate the underlying causes of mental and emotional health issues, including nutrient imbalances, chronic inflammation, hormonal imbalances, and more. By addressing these root causes, we aim to support the body’s natural healing processes and promote optimal mental and emotional health.

In addressing mental and emotional health concerns, we may use a combination of therapies, including:

  1. Nutrient therapy: Supplementation with essential nutrients, such as omega-3 fatty acids, B-vitamins, and magnesium, to support brain function and improve mood.
  2. Lifestyle changes: Recommendations for physical activity, stress management, and sleep hygiene to improve mental and emotional health.
  3. Functional medicine testing: Assessments, such as saliva hormone testing and food sensitivity testing, to identify any imbalances or sensitivities that may be contributing to mental and emotional health concerns.
  4. Mind-body therapies: Techniques, such as mindfulness, meditation, and therapy, to support mental and emotional health and improve overall well-being.

We will work with you to develop a personalized treatment plan that addresses your unique needs and supports your journey to optimal mental and emotional health.
