Jess’s shoulder had been hurting on and off over the last 8 years. She first noticed the pain during her workouts at the gym and slowly, the pain increased until she went to see a doctor. It was suggested that her pain was due to bursitis which is caused due to inflammation of the bursa in the shoulder. Several doctors suggested Jessica undergo surgery to see what was wrong. In an attempt to avoid surgery, Jess received cortisone shots and performed physical therapy but was still experiencing high levels of pain.
Jessica’s pain became so severe that she wasn’t able to workout or lift anything with her arm. Simple tasks such as doing the dishes or wiping down kitchen counters became unbearable.
Jessica’s Treatment Experience
Jessica experienced a rapid reduction in pain and inflammation following her first Acousana® therapy treatment. “Immediately after, I was able to lift my arm up to my ear.” Over the next couple of days, Jessica reported feeling that something was changing within her shoulder which was expressed through fatigue as her shoulder began to heal.
Within the same week, Jessica found herself being able to return to familiar activities including working out and certain yoga movements that had caused pain previously.
Jessica’s shoulder pain is now a thing in the past. She can perform all of her daily activities with confidence and ease without fearing that certain movements may hurt. “I’m feeling really optimistic about the results that I’ve had – super excited where I’ve got a baby and a toddler and things at home that I’ve got to do – I really have been praying honestly to find some answers that I could find something to improve my shoulder without having to do the surgery so this has been awesome for me.”
